Y3 Assembly- The power of Reading
Year 3 reminded us how interesting and informative reading can be. We should ALL read every day, not just for information but also for pleasure. Reading can take you on journeys you would never even dream of. The children recited a poem and showed us that we need to take time away from devices and read. One of the children read a little of a 'Harry Potter' book and then asked a question. Unfortunately none of the audience was able to answer the question; being read to requires actively listening skills. It was fun, though. Some children received certificates for their good work. Well done!
