Foreign Community Schools Cultural Festival 2024
On 2nd June our school, along with other community schools, staged an event, in which we were asked to show the culture of the country to which the school belongs. The event was held in the Monaliza hall in front of many dignitaries, as well as the children and staff of the participating schools. The children from Years 5 and 6 were invited to participate and rehearsals started straight away with the children who were interested and willing to participate, and with the help of Ms Juliana and Ms Valerie. On the day, the children performed a Scottish Dance called 'The Gay Gordons' and sang a popular Beatles song: 'The Yellow Submarine'. The children made a great impression on the audience and we felt great pride in how they performed. Congratulations to all who took part: you did a great job!
