Dr Seuss and hats
Dr Seuss was a famous author who wrote many books that are still read and loved by children all over the world. Perhaps the most well known are The Cat In The Hat (1957), Green Eggs And Ham (1960) and How The Grinch Stole Christmas (1966). Many of his books have been made into films. He was born on 2nd March, 1904. For this reason we decided to celebrate his birthday with a hat parade. The children were asked to make a hat of their own and they paraded around the hall for everyone to see their creations. What a wonderful sight! Well done to all of those who took part.
