Y5 Assembly - Women's Day
On 8th March, the whole world celebrated Women's Day, and Year 5 told us about it and some women who have made a lasting impression on the world. They also showed us what some of the women in our school do, which was very entertaining! They reminded us that the most important women in our lives are our mothers, and had flowers for those who attended the assembly. Here's to celebrating women all over the world and the men who support them!
During Book Week, the children were asked to send in photographs of themselves while reading in unusual places. We had some interesting photos and the winners were announced and awarded prizes. Well done! Everyone who sent in a photo was given a book mark to use while they continue their journey through books.
