Sports Day

Everyone looks forward to Sports Day. This year was a little different with some new games as well as old favourites. All the children were sorted into their house teams with nearly all of them wearing their house T-shirt. Well done! This year the games were: Throwing beanbags into the hoop, Filling the bucket with water, Sack race, Scoring goals, Lemon on spoon race, Skipping, Hockey and Three-legged race. What fun! We then had a break before playing one of our most popular games: passing the wet sponge! The idea is to get as much water as possible into the bin at the end of the line - not an easy task with such a long line! Our final game was a tug-o-war. You can see from some of the expressions on the faces how much effort the children put into it. Special thanks to Mr Raouf for organising it all; we couldn't have done it without him. Take a look at the photos. They show how much the children enjoyed this special day.
